What is the Together Breath?

From Pandemic to Rebirth

At the beginning of 2020, people were for the most part oblivious to what would unfold throughout the year.

By March of 2020, the world went into Lock Down and suddenly, access to those who you care for became significantly limited.

In my personal case, my mother went back to South Africa [where I’m from originally] to bury her father who passed away due to old age.

As soon as she entered the country, the world went into lock down and suddenly, we were all caught off guard.

During this time, I was deep into Pranayama techniques and have been using the Wim Hof Method to extend my breath holds.

It dawned on my wife and I that despite the physical distance between us and our loved ones – we could all synchronize our breath together one day out of the week to “feel closer to each other”.

And so The Together Breath was born. Back then, we used Facebook Watch Parties to synchronize videos I would edit weekly and load up to our group.

Since we started, we have grown significantly and continue to grow each week.

We’ve since shifted to Youtube Premieres streamed from my Channel.

The Together Breath has evolved and has shifted to Thursdays with “Thunder Breath Thursdays.” You can join these free live zoom sessions by joining the telegram group.

The Together Breath was one of the first videos I edited for my friends and family. This is a simple breathing exercise that will leave you calm and relaxed.

Simply start inhaling through the nose, and exhaling through the mouth. The video lasts for approximately 10-mins and contains no breath holds.
