Welcome back to another episode of “The Road to Artistry“, a podcast dedicated to help people find their artistry, and create a sustainable lifestyle around it.
Throughout this series we’ll be exploring a host of topics surrounding what it means to be an artist today. We’ll be talking about the digital sphere, how to find your audience, branding and many other topics with the hopes of giving you (the artist) the tools and inspiration to pursuit what would truly make you happy.
In today’s episode – Find your Audience!
The only way you’ll ever be able to live a sustainable artistic life is by having an audience. Fans/Audience/Tribe is the driving force behind every successful artist.
In order to find your audience you’ll need to put yourself out there. For many artists, this is a very vulnerable place to be at. “What if they don’t like it” is a voice always whispering in the background. We aim to find perfection and then never do anything towards manifesting our desired lifestyle.
It’s absolutely necessary that you – the artist- put yourself out there. Dedicate a weekly goal and start producing content that you can share on social media or your own blog. Start creating your artistic portfolio one week at a time.
Want to film a movie? Then start filming short clips. Want to write a book? Start setting weekly goals and start writing. But publish it online! Get it out there. Stop hiding everything you create.
It doesn’t have to be perfect. Your journey as an artist lasts your entire life. You simply have to start doing and sharing with those around you. Throughout the podcast, I talk about a few other things along this line. Give it a listen and let me know what you think.
Let’s talk…
I want to help you achieve your goals. I’m not doing this for money, but because I see the state of the world. There is so much division, so much hatred and opinions floating around that humanity needs some true, real art.
We need people who can live a life worth living. To be happy being alive. I think that can be achieved through pursuing a life of artistry.
Hit me up with some comments and I’ll be sure to get back to you. Be sure to follow me on social media for updates on these podcast or other things I’m going to be adding.
