WHAT TO EXPECT?

The “Energy Power Breather” is an hour of dynamic breathing which includes, slow grounding breaths, transpersonal breathwork, silent meditation, guided instructions, and the use of binaural beats.

The first 10-minutes of the session is designed to prepare you emotionally, to get you relaxed and ready to breathe for a prolonged period. This first section is incredibly calm and relaxing. You can simply use this part if you want to relax at the end of the day.

The next section deals with transpersonal breathwork which implements a (1-1-2 breathwork pattern) or two short inhalations followed by a longer exhalation. This pattern is repeated for 30-minutes and can be quite intense. However, the MP3 track is designed to help motivate you throughout this time, pushing you to keep on breathing.

Once the Transpersonal Breathwork is concluded, the session shifts into a deep silent meditation lasting for 10-minutes. During this time, the binaural beats shift into theta frequencies which are associated with deep meditation.

Finally, the session slowly brings you back into an alpha state utilizing once more the power of binaural beats with some basic guided instructions.

HOW TO DO THE BREATHWORK

The Energy Power Breather follows various breathwork patterns. The following section provides you with a brief description of each.

Slow “Grounding Breaths”

Simply inhale through the nose, and exhale through the mouth. Instead of forcefully exhaling, simply release the breath. Add an audible sigh for a deeper effect.

Transpersonal Breathwork Pattern (1-1-2)

This breathwork pattern takes up the bulk of the Energy Power Breather session and consists of two short inhalations and a releasing of the breath. The first inhalation is directed to the diaphragm [belly] and the second inhalation expands the chest. On the exhale, simple let the breath go without any force [passive exhalation].
